Accounts Payable Assistant
Agrii are looking to employ an Accounts Payable Assistant for a hybrid role based at our Andoversford office.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant at Agrii, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance function by ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payment runs, and account reconciliations. Reporting to the AP Manager, you will help maintain effective financial processes and provide key support during month-end and other critical periods.
What You’ll Do:
- Process vendor invoices using Exflow Data Capture and Microsoft D365, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Review and follow up on registered invoices, resolving issues with vendors and internal teams.
- Prepare and submit manual payment requests as required.
- Reconcile key supplier accounts monthly and support wider month-end activities.
- Promote and support the use of purchase orders across the business.
- Work with the AP Manager to resolve complex queries and help drive process improvements.
- Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to urgent or ad-hoc requests.
- Support the day-to-day operations and development of the Accounts Payable team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent, accurate approach to your work.
- Confidence handling queries and challenges with professionalism and clarity.
- Solid MS Office skills and confidence using MS Excel.
- A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- A team-focused attitude, with strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach.
