Trainee or Development Agronomist

We are seeking either a Trainee Agronomist or a Development Agronomist, with some industry or on-farm experience and an interest to move into Agronomy Advice, for a permanent position with our Central Scotland Team. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with a passion for agriculture and a desire to pursue a career in agronomy advice. This role offers significant long-term development, support, and career progression in a market-leading, well-renowned company.
As a Trainee or Development Agronomist, you will work closely with experienced Agrii Agronomists to learn the fundamentals of crop management, soil science, and agronomic best practices. You will collaborate with colleagues and farmers to integrate scientific insights into sustainable farming practices and innovative technologies. From analyzing soil health to advising on crop nutrition, your role will contribute to delivering tailored, evidence-based solutions for farmers.
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree in Agriculture or an agriculture-related field.
- Experience working in an arable farming environment or within the agriculture industry.
- A passion for agriculture and building relationships.
- A keen interest to develop and learn - an interest which will be supported by our iq training programme - this will also include completing your BASIS Crop Protection & FACTS qualifications.
- A valid driving license.
