accounts for about 12% of the UK spring barley market.

• High treated yields in Agrii northern trials (101% treated, 87% untreated) put it at the same level as Laureate. It has a medium specific weight (67.8 kg/hl) and relatively low screenings and is often grown as a high yielding feed barley.
• Medium in height (71 cm), stiffer straw (7) to Laureate with similar brackling resistance (7) and it produces reasonably high straw yields but it is the latest variety to mature (+2).
• A good disease resistance package is reflected in its high untreated yield with mildew (9), brown rust (5), Rhynchosporium (5), and moderate resistance to net blotch.
